Wait! We Didn’t Retaliate Understanding an OSHA Whistleblower

Segment Hosted by:

Pre-Conference Webinar Series.png

TUESDAY, MARCH 24 AT 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Being involved in an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) whistleblower investigation can be challenging for employers, especially those unfamiliar with the process. OSHA’s notice of suit letters often reference citations to various legal statutes, contain a complaint summarizing the claimant’s allegations, and require that the employer collect and provide an abundance of information in a short time period. In addition, an employer is required to provide a response and may be required to produce employees for witness interviews. The goal of this session will be to provide an easy and digestible roadmap that employers can use to navigate through this process.

Key Takeaways

  • Learn what an OSHA investigation entails.

  • Understand as an employer, what type of response may be required.

  • Understand an employer’s rights and obligations in this process.

Who Should Attend This Session:

Safety managers, directors, or other employees responsible for and interested in implementation of safety programs and processes.
